There are rumblings (heh) of parking garages in danger of collapse due to increased load should electric cars become prevalent.

Not sure how credible this source is, (first one in my quick search)...

No parking for me. Even stopping at the end was a nose-in / pull thru.

Come to that, the guy didn't even accompany me back to the building, so anyone could have stood in for me really.

Waaaaay back in 1996, CT would not swap a UK license, but NY said they would. When I told the DMV (CT) that I was thinking of going that route, they said it didn't help me as they wouldn't swap an NY...

Replaced at 14000 Miles
Replaced at 19000 Miles
Replaced at 38000 Miles

As the replacements all share the same part number, I have no confidence that the latest "fix" will...

I dunno... I don't think the tech is anywhere near ready and infrastructure considerations are ignored. At least rural homes should have room...
