In all seriousness, you most lilkely won't need a medical for a simple DUI.

If the consulate want to deny you a visa, they can just point to the far more significant issue, which is the CIMT's.

The "VCU" process you're referring to is the process of adjudicating a waiver of ineligibility. Nothing changes as far as the employer is concerned - the visa application just goes ahead as normal...

The certificate used to be issued by ACPO - Association of Chief Police Officers, but the agency has now been renamed to the NPCC - National Police Chiefs...

Are you sure only the DD is unspent? Offences over the age of 18, such as your 2013 conviction, normally have to be declared for seven years before being spent.
