Yes, even for anyone who doesn't have a Degree it is at least useful to obtain local certifications to complement any real world experience.

No. Sorry. That's too simple a statement.

For example in my business you need a Physics Degree or similar.

When I need an employee, that will be one of the minimum requirements, along with 10...

That's very true and these days a Degree is very rapidly becoming a minimum requirement for a lot of jobs as there are so many graduates unemployed.

Many legitimate businesses offer low base salary with commission programs.
