I got both done. Continentals rated for 80,000 miles. (We'll see)
They put the new ones on the back and gave me several technical reasons why they do that.

27,000 miles since new.
Was hosing down the wheels and I noticed a small but noticeable bulge on the side of one of the front Bridgestone tires.
I assume I'll have to replace?
Should I do...

Returned the old battery, @ three years old, to Costco, they gave me $44.00 back and the new one cost @ $35.00 total.

However.

Car wouldn't start this morning. Battery dead. Presumably...

Use to be with AAA but found that my insurance coverage provides many of the same benefits. But good tip.

We do actually get a free tow but it's just more practical for Mrs to get one on the way...

Got up this morning, car wouldn't start, 2008 Civic.
Battery flat.
Is that the normal symptom...apparently fine one day, inoperative the next?

If that's all it is then I'll just replace it.

Just replaced my low beam bulbs, what a bugger...

Drivers side I removed the plastic liner from under the wheel arch, got access to bulb housing. Looked simple in practice, but...

That's amazing..my oil is @ $40.00 at the Honda dealer.

I get my tires from a dedicated place..America's Tire. Free rotation and puncture repair. Replacement if they can't repair the puncture due...

I've found the local Honda dealer very fair and reasonable plus he poached me away from dealer I used to use with a permanent across the board 15% discount cause I'm Scottish.
