An elderly American relative (sadly passed away now) would crochet afghans too. She had hearing problems & always called them "Africans".... :lol:

We like a top sheet now too; much easier to toss regularly into the wash.

In the summer when it's hot, & even the lightest duvet is too much, a cool cotton top sheet's just right. In the winter...
