That issue was resolved 12 months back. Chevy recalled all Bolts and upgraded the drive batteries.
They no longer spontaneously combust lol

No, not possible. You are prevented from engaging the drive system if it's still plugged in.

Added another BMW to the family.
My commuter car, Chevy Volt was struck by lightning and totaled. Ironic really.

My poor wife (Bronx girl) had to the the UK test 20+ years ago when we lived in Plymouth.
She whined and whined about it, but passed first time, even at 7 months pregnant. Poor thing.

When traveling in the UK we always use waze app on our phones. Never an issue.
Of course you do need a UK data plan. We just purchase a pay as you go sim card with a set amount of data and free...

It's pretty basic, but I do have a laptop to access some systems.
No fancy traction control, DSC that sort of thing.

Airbag lights come on occasionally, but are easy to diagnose and clear.

The engine management system runs the engine at regular periods for 5 mins or so to stop fuel sitting in the system for extended periods.
Haven't heard of issues with fuel sitting in the tank,...

With these crazy gas prices, I'm loving my Volt even more.
30 mile commute, no gas used :)

GM recently replaced the battery from free, so should be good for a few miles of gas free driving.

Similar story here, 98 M Roadster. just under 100k miles. Been pretty stress free apart from maintenance items.

I think at 6’5” you could have an issue.
