The Choithrams at the bottom of my building is hit and miss with meat - as in whether they have more than one of anything. I like their pre-seasoned shit, saves some hassle.

Carrefour is better for things like sour cream that you want on your chilli or to make something with. Their own brand stuff for that is more than fine (like pasta as you say).

I find the veg and salad at Spinneys really hit and miss, that's the only real difference to be honest.



7k rent gets you 96k budget which is plenty for a nice place in Sports City / parts of...

Nope, not to do with what someone thinks they're worth or what they would / wouldn't work for. It's about what can / will work.

Those figures are bang on the money.
In fact, the car bit might be a bit high (once you purchase, even accounting for saving a bit for maintenance).
