Oh there is just so much more than the weather. Even our Brisbane born and bred boys prefer the weather here although they arent keen on the very cold days.

I dont think anyone is being the forum police, its just for many the idea that it is too cold to go outside for 9 months of the year is a little odd.

Yes that I can certainly understand, Canada has a pretty extreme climate whereas as you say the UK climate is mild, it is why it is referred to as temperate as generally it doesnt see real extremes. ...

Unfortunately if that is the case then the heat and humidity of Brisbane may also cause a similar problem but in reverse dont you think.

My personal preference suburb wise is the southside, you get better value for money and have great access to places like the Gold Coast Hinterland which is a beautiful area and obviously the coast if...
