None of the above describes what we have found in the UK but I suppose we are different. Australia certainly isnt 'better' for young people or families generally and I can tell you that Australia has...

We were the opposite in that all my family are in Australia so it was harder in that respect butlike you did a trip to England and realised all the warnings I had been given about how the country had...

The weather here starts getting good around March and is good until around October, it is usually only horrible for about 3 months of the year.

Absolutely, it would be the last place I wouod want to live and like you the weather has nothing to do with that.
Our kids were indoor types in Australia and the same here, it is perfectly possible...

I dont know why there is this ridiculous belief that it has to be hot to be able to have any outdoor lifestyle. What do kids in these places do ? They play outside just like kids anywhere else....

I agree with this totally, you dont actually need a lot of money to have a decent quality of life here, an average wage will certainly give you that in most parts of the country and as you say Europe...

We did it just over 2 years ago and it was the best thing we did. Our Brisbane born and bred kids love it here and are getting on really well and we just feel so much more relaxed at at 'home'. I...
