Well the mangoes are nowhere near as ripe/sweet as they are in Aus and i just paid 1.99 for a ' sweet ' one from tescos.

Number one social activity has to be the barbie . There are free click on barbies evrrywhere in Perth . There are also countless free activiities for kids and families, and parks to die for .

I only left 6 months ago . It wasn't the ritz i'll admit . Another advantage was we could salary package any dining out / cafe's etc .

Much cheaper to eat out in Aus . We used to regularly dine at Indian / Chinese ( family of 4 ) for around 50 bucks .

Horses for courses , swings and roundabouts etc can't believe this thread is...
