I dunno. I got the train from London to Liverpool 2 years and it was great. Left on time, nice trains, both got in ahead of schedule. GBP50 return in 1st class, refreshments and wifi included.

And as I was saying, the same can be said for many parts of Southern England, mediocre houses selling for silly money - 10x, or more, than income. If anything, the market is still rising as well.

It is the rule in large parts of the UK - SE England (one of the wealthiest regions of Europe), large parts of the SW (Cornwall, Devon), Cheshire etc. SE Qld, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne are wealthy...
