Never mind the fact that we get **** all vacation time here anyway no matter where we want to go.

Sometimes it's hard not to just stick with a domestic vacation though. National Parks are dope.

I guess when you consider just how bloody big the US actually is, things like this make sense. After all, rural counties make up 72% of the land area of the US.

It's generally the same (except the tolls are probably much higher). Illinois collects all the tolls and does who knows what with it but you can always tell when you pass into it from Wisconsin even...

The last time we were in California, before we made it (back) to San Francisco, my daughter was complaining that there 'wasn't enough air'. To be fair, it was 109 with higher than usual humidity...

It varies from year to year. Sometimes you're right, you get two days in the 50s at the end of March and then it's 80 and every mosquito who has ever existed is in your back yard.
