Re: Vaccine rollout in the UAE
22% of the UAE now have had the first jab and running at almost 100k people per day.
Well done.
Hopefully see some meaningful drops in cases and hospitalisation in the next month.

Anyone interested in Pfizer vaccine, Mediclinic now have supplies and offering it ..... this was announced on their corporate news online, although the article has since been taken offline due getting bombarded with calls.

Now being reported that up to 35% of the adult population has received at least one jab.
That is a serious number which should be showing through in reduced case numbers over the next month.
The article speaks of around 100-200k jabs each day. At that rate 70% of the adult population fully vaccinated ( the lowest needed for the mythical herd immunity) could be in sight in 2-3 months.
In another article I read that being fully vaccinated gets you an exemption from doing frequent PCR tests. Could be a useful model in other countries to encourage take up.

Was reading earlier that Thailand may open up more to those that have been vaccinated. I think this will be become more and more common and harder to travel without a jab.

That is a given. What you need to consider is that not all jabs are created equally in the eyes of world politics. Think carefully where you want to travel to and what may or may not be acceptable: trade wars and geopolitical considerations are real.
