Tax on remittances - how long have we got?

I quite like the interest rates here, without the year or two-year tenures associated with the same rates back on the UK, so this will be a kick in the teeth.
I can't find mention of when this will be implemented. Anyone know?

It still has to go to the National Assembly and the Government for approval but will be interesting - I'd be surprised to actually see it follow thru.
