More than I'd have liked, but given (as I've said on here before) that distinguishing between English-ness and British-ness can be difficult sometimes, as demonstrated by a number the questions on the quiz, perhaps not too surprising.

well that and the fact that half the "great English national moments and acts" should more correctly be ascribed to the Scots, Welsh and Irish!

The Empire? It's the British Empire and has always been called that. I see all these things as British and I think the separatist attitude shown by many is counter-productive to progress and harmony. Whatever the claim, we all have British passports and I'd like to keep it like that.
