Check Spinneys on Al Wasl Road. Sure I saw a KTM advertised, not sure what engine.

Otherwise, try the KTM dealer near Harley-Davidson on SZR.

this may be a stupid question, but do you need a licence to drive these bikes in the desert?

Because if not I wouldn't mind getting one as well, but I've got nno licence.

Spugsy, getting you bike licence is very easy here for certain nationalities.

However, as it's off road, I don't belive you need a licence provided you don't ride "on road".

Sandstorm are the cheapest, Gecko's are the cleanest, KTM's are the best but more expensive - all around Al Quoz area. be careful - it's not a sport for everyone!

Spugsy - you don't need a licence to ride it - it is not the sort of bike you would take on the road

if you are both really interested you should check out the track days every Friday at Jebel Ali to get a feel for it or check out www.mydubaimotocross.com - you may find second hand bikes on there
