I'm trying to get OFF the wagon - craving a shot (or better yet a bottle) of a yummy lemon meringue flavoured Dutch liqueur called Europa which it would appear is only available in North America - go figure

How is it going Jasper, being on the wagon I mean? I've decided to give it a try starting today! Too much drowning the homesick blues into a bottle of wine every day can't be good right?

Anyone in?
Quick drink before it's time to find somthing to feed the kids. Last time I asked them what they fancied for dinner, one said "fresh prawns" and the other said "big, fat steak."
Think they might just get a quick omelette tonight and some grilled veg.

I'll take a pint of anything alcoholic, and a couple of packets smokey pig crisps.

You know there really is nothing quite like a British Pub no matter where you travel in the world they just cannot get it right. Perhaps it the people in the Pub 'the Local" nothing to compare. You see all people who live around you its like one big family get together. I am sure in the bigger Towns and Cities its not like that but the smaller places do seem to keep it going.
