Hey Bristol... The second one might be a bit close to home for you right now.. It made me cry.. It was less funny more terribly sad...

I just finished it a minute ago. It was a great antidote to the last few days. Hilarious

New comedy 'Car Share' with Peter Kay starts tonight on BBC iplayer @ 9.00 pm. It airs on BBC1 TV on 21 April @ 9.30pm. Feel good comedy about two people thrown together in a car pool. From Peter Kay's description it sounds like a welcome change from the more serious issues of the day.

Anyone watch Have I got News for You? I know it's been on for ages but I just saw it for the first time and almost cracked a rib or two laughing

I'm watching Brinkburn Street and really like it. Seen 3 episodes and no complaints thus far.

Not seen it since 2004 when I moved. I keep up with UK news - The Guardian is my home page - but I'm not sure if I could follow all of it. I suppose it's not absolutely essential for much of it. But I'm not sure it's worth the effort for just half an hour.

Most of it right now is about the election, which I am studiously following from here in the US. The rest (even if I don't quite understand it) is still amusing. More than anything, it's that sharp, dry British wit that I miss so much that will keep me watching.

Is it possible the order changed?

The second one I saw was the break-in which I found very funny. The third one was was definitely less funny. Kind of disturbing.

Ah. This is the second series. I've been catching up on the first series.

The first was "Sardines" featuring a sort of hide and seek game - with a twist.

The second one was a couple of burglars after a valuable piece of art. It was so funny I kept it. Virtually dialogue free.

I've got my eye on that one as well. Hopefully I can stay awake, I keep nodding off through the 9pm programs.

The Christine one was a sad one. I enjoyed the train one.
