Its only 6g of gold plate over a stirling silver base.... Not All gold

All fur coat and no knickers in my humble opinion....

My point being...... The value of winning Gold? Surely the Aussies can console themselves that they have won the Same shit, its just the British shit is in a shinier bucket????

Do you know how much they would cost if they were solid gold? Times that by the number of golds given out..

How much is an olympic gold medal worth in scrap gold....

And yes boss.... I thought they were solid gold.... Have been watching the ceremonies thinking... Bloody hell that must be a bitnof a weight round yer neck... Hope they've carried out the appropriate risk assessment by some one with the right ticket before doing that... Or they could be leaving themselves open to all kinds of legal issues
