Just a little update
Just a little update, we have finally made a decision that we will be in New Zealand in January 2011. Job or no job, obviously we will still keep looking/applying for jobs but if we have no luck we still plan to go 
So that gives us just under a year to sort out visa, save as much as we can, sell flat and all our belongings that we won't ship, have final Christmas (for a while) with family in the UK. Feel very happy but daunted by the task ahead, but it feels great to have "the date" to work towards.
Now just to decide where we will go Welly or Dunedin
Just had to get it out as we don't plan to tell family asap.....woo hooo I'm coming home!!!!!

Thanks ladies (think you are a lady Berni).
Was just looking at your timeline Dewb, we were going to apply in June/July for spousal visa but will defo do it earlier to make sure we can get a departure date in earlyish Jan.

I did choose to wait for the 6 months you can have between being AIP and sending in passport for blue stickers. We were sprucing the house up ready to sell, as it turns out we needed the whole 6 months to get the job done

You had better start making all those lists as the next year will fly over and you will be here before you know it!

Making the decision is the biggest hurdle, you've done that, now the rest will follow.....
