Motor bike riders
so if you had to leave NZ what accessory would you purchase to take back to UK.
Popping over to UK and would like to get me eldest something he would appreciate and something that is maybe common here but not there??, not sure what bike he has at the moment but one of his latest pics has it on its side in the snow, only exhaust bracket broken so all good. and don't say stabiliser as I am sure that would not go down to well

Re: Motor bike riders
Apart from a kiwi shaped keyring there is nothing here that is kiwi specific or that is not more readily available at a lower price in the UK.
I'm going back in 3 weeks and am planning on buying all my new kit and some parts when I'm there.
Just take him some Lollie's instead !!

You can get gear like this in the UK and the ones I've seen aren't specifically biker gear - more tradie gear but I spotted boxes of those self warming hoodies on the clearance bench in Mitre10 the other day. Reduced to like $50 or $60. They were a charcoal colour with a small orange emblem and pretty cool. Great for riding in the UK over leathers so long as you get an extra size. Just a thought.

merino is a brilliant idea. He works in a motor cycle shop so think he can get most things, just wondered if there was something that NZ had that UK didn't.
Would like to get him some fashionable bubble wrap as he keeps trying to kill himself.

Check out Global Culture, they've got one in Lower Cuba Street. I get a lot of gifts for family there, they usually have deals on the t-shirts, they've got some funky merino tops as well. Their designs are cool, and they're in the Entertainment Book if you've got one.

Check sizes. I found Global Culture stuff to be a tad small.
