We travel a lot so coming back to a home base or "Sanctuary" does not need a lot around it.

We have received loads of properties for sale from the estate agents - which may be a concern by the number, but the common attribute are the backdrop scenery from all the properties. Lush green gardens, bright blue skys.

Traffic jam on the way to airport was 2 people at the roundabout.
Just double check where your water is coming from and if there is a daily limit, summers are very dry in the Wairau valley. Picton and Havelock get much more rain.

As a resident of Marlborough for 7 years agree with the comments - especially about the weather in Havelock and Picton.

Need to add that Havelock in the winter is very prone to fog for days on end but beautiful in the summer. Actually so is the rest of the area!
