-- because I have a friend looking to do the same and any info is useful. We are both currently drowning in the visa details as we are only used to the Aussie side of things.
He does have one advantage over you I think, as well as being UK registered, he is registered with AHPRA in Australia so can transfer by the Trans-Tasman agreement (I think) to NZ.

Yes . Accent have been tried and tested.
His route will depend on his Oz visa status. He will either simply walk on in as an OZ PR or he will look to gain a job offer and uplift a temp work visa to get him here. All NZ DHB are NZIS accredited so are free to offer posts to overseas people.
He will need to set up his practising license.

So I've just been asked to verify my postal address and my document tracker on the NZNC now says register letter sent.....why can the not just give me a yay or nay via email...the waiting is killing me

My mate, being a diploma nurse, managed to get registered in Australia before all the issues with diplomas, hence we are hoping he can transfer straight to the NZ register from AHPRA
