New Dewa security deposit amounts
As of September 21, Dewa have changed the amounts for the security deposit.
Apartments 2000 dhs (was 1000 dhs) plus 110 dhs admin fees
Villas 4000 dhs (was 2000 dhs) plus 110 dhs admin fees.
They have also changed their application forms, the new ones no longer ask for your passport number but now they ask for your residency visa number. Some Dewa branches will not take your application into consideration when you use the old form, even though they still hand out the old ones at customer service and say it's all ok...
