Re: Dubai Country Club - possible closure
Related but not related- what is the fate of the ski-club? It looks like there are lots of development plans for that end of the creek and I presume the ski-club will follow suit with the country club.

Re: Dubai Country Club - possible closure
Bloody hell- I am behind on the news! Many fond memories of the ski club- one in particular for a wake for a friend's wife who passed away suddenly which turned into a very drunken, melancholy night- I was fortunate enough to be passing through DXB from HKG to join them.
My sister is a member of the country club and had been keeping me up with the news.

http://www.gulfnews.com/sport/Karting/10170837.html for The Dean and anyone else who is interested.
On another matter some girls on EW are trying to catch the rabbits on the golf course because cement is being poured into the burrows etc. They are going to get them de-sexed and then release them into another park. How sad. Shakh - where is this Environmental Agency based?

Re: Dubai Country Club - possible closure
They're AD based... but work throughout the UAE. I think they can only help if they are native rabbits.... In which case no need to denature them.

So the Environment agency won't be intrested...
This is probably why the UAE customs are so strict about importing rabbits, as many of our female posters have apparently found to their cost.
