Dhahran/Al Khobar Compounds - KSA
I was wondering has anyone got any information on a compound called Riyadh Compound in the Dhahran or Al Khobar area in KSA?
I cannot find anything online and may have miss understood the person who told me the name.
Any pointers appreciated.

I do not know the place - but I left in 2011. It could be new. Rezayat is fine - mainly Asian familes..

Dhahran/Al Khobar Compounds - KSA
Hi everyone,
Just joined and looking to move to Al Khobar in March from Cairo. I am looking to rent a 1 bed apartment/room in a compound and have approximately 70k to spend on rent annually. It looks quite expensive reading the threads on here. Can anyone recommend suitable accommodation and can you advise if there is a waiting list. I have checked out a number of compounds but they do not have prices included. Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

1 bed 'apartment' (I used that term lightly as it was pretty much one room with a shower attached) on Eurovillage was R80,000 a year in April 2013. They wanted 6 months deposit up front. THere was only one available, they wouldn't hold it pending payment of deposit and it was gone a week later.
If you find a contact email online for a compound, email them. They usually respond with a price list and info on any availability.

Thanks Sicklyman, will try e-mailing direct, it all seems a bit expensive so maybe will have second thoughts on coming out there.

I am not sure whether to stay in a compound our at a local apartment. Do you have any reliable realtor contacts in the area of Al-Rakah etc?

Compound or a local apartment in Al-Khobar / Dammam
Which one should I choose? I will be single male in Al Khobar for at least 8 months and I am not sure whether to live in a compound for 7000SAR/mth or in a flat for half a price of this.
does anyone have a good realtor contact in the area?
