GC - New Employer
Hi all,
We’ve been doing an I-90 since October to change the name on my GC. It’s sitting in the pile as far as I’m aware but my new employer will terminate me if I do not produce the new one with correct name within 90 days.
I’ve expedited but refused and didn’t get a chance to present the evidence.
What should I do?!

Re: GC - New Employer
Then you have no worries about your employer seeing your green card and even knowing about a misspelled name on it. You qualified to work for him by using acceptable documents on the I-9. There's no reason for the employer to even see your green card.

I wonder if it related to E-Verify.

Re: GC - New Employer
Called and turns out the agent left poor notes regarding the expedite, hence its refusal (Made it look like 'just hurry up and send my card'.
Advised to complete an e-request as they cannot make a new expedite request with good notes for 30 days. Coincidentally or by luck, my new GC was mailed today so unsure if the e-request worked or if it was refused but still processed.
Next stop is Citizenship, for which I may achieve through the National Guard - Thinking about enlisting.
