There is a possible route but generally speaking you are correct.

They need to leave and may need a waiver at their home consulate.

Can someone please help me.

I am totally losing it here.

I am in the USA, applying for my husband to come here. We have an approved I 130, and his interview date is in London the 28th of next month.

Are we screwed, and for how long?

If any one knows, or can help, please. Im begging.

Angie.

Good news Angie,

My lawyer called yesterday and said everything is fine in the London embassy. No delays. I guess that's why there's no notice posted. Our interview should be ok next Wednesday and hopefully yours will be too next month. .

I got this email today from my husband.

Hi sweetie,
I've been through all the stuff I could find anywhere about this fiasco.

It looks like as our I-130 was already approved they will do the
background check at the USCIS office in London. I couldn't find how long that might take from anyone, but at least we
won't have to start over.

Different embassies seem to be handling scheduled interviews in
different ways, some are cancelling all of them, some are rescheduling them and some are keeping them. The ones that are keeping them are taking the paperwork and checking everything, but you don't get your visa until the checks on your petitioning relative (that's you) are complete. They'll then courier it to you when its ready.

I hope London is keeping their interviews as that means I could turn over the evidence on the money etc.

CAN ANY ONE HAVING INTERVIEWS IN LONDON PLEASE KEEP POSTING!

I cried for five hours yesterday. I have been apart from James for 5 months. I know alot of you have longer journeys, but I really cannot take anymore BS like this from red tape.

Thanks
Angie.
