However, on that theme, my JFK-type moments are:
- John Lennon (vaguely recall) In bed hearing it on the radio
- Princess Dianna In bed hearing it on the radio
- Twin Towers - Having lunch with a woman who I'd had more than a crush on for 23 years, but I didn't discover it (the attack, not the crush) until a few hours later at home.

-JFK. Watching telly, it seemed important so I went to tell my mum who burst into tears
- John Lennon. - i was at King's Cross and saw the Evening Standard headlines
- Princess Diana in bed, listening to the radio
- Twin Towers at work in a meeting

Ugh, every time I see this thread I get PTSD flashbacks to my previous life as a teacher and all the four letter acronym nonsense I dealt with on a daily basis.

I got told I wasn't allowed to change it to " we all now know"

There really is a place called AlcobaƧa.

I read it as someone's location in another thread and assumed it was some place in the sun to retire to where the booze and ciggies were cheap.

All professions do that. It's about professional identity and exclusion. HID wrote a paper on it ten million years ago.
