Oh I think it can qualify...on the basis of "good heavens, that long ago? I never knew."
However, on that theme, my JFK-type moments are:
- John Lennon (vaguely recall) In bed hearing it on the radio
- Princess Dianna In bed hearing it on the radio
- Twin Towers - Having lunch with a woman who I'd had more than a crush on for 23 years, but I didn't discover it (the attack, not the crush
) until a few hours later at home.

That's not a WILT, although it could be a 'WILT-54 years'.

- John Lennon. - i was at King's Cross and saw the Evening Standard headlines
- Princess Diana in bed, listening to the radio
- Twin Towers at work in a meeting

Ugh, every time I see this thread I get PTSD flashbacks to my previous life as a teacher and all the four letter acronym nonsense I dealt with on a daily basis.

There really is a place called Alcobaça. 
I read it as someone's location in another thread and assumed it was some place in the sun to retire to where the booze and ciggies were cheap.
