Default The glass ceiling

Found this article interesting, as I didn't realise the phrase the "glass ceiling" was coined by one individual.

100 Women: 'Why I invented the glass ceiling phrase' - BBC News

On a similar note, am watching some old Bond films that are being shown on TV (Roger Moore era at present) and the way women are depicted, even KGB, is now a bit toe curling in its sexism. I've also noticed that in modern films (of every genre) there is no shortage of strong capable female characters. Which is good.

Yes its just how times have changed...for the better of course, and it will continue.

When I look back, my Dad and my uncles were all pretty chauvinistic, just the way it was back then. As a species we have evolved and become more and more civilised, there is a perfect balance somewhere that we will reach.
