All my pictures were taken around Tanjung Tokong, either from Straits Quay or Quayside. The rescue of the stricken, hi-tec platform was taken from Healy Macs using a big zoom. You certainly would not find anything like it in the North Sea, old oil drums lashed together inside a steel frame.

Ah ha, got it, thought you took the pictures from a boat! Didn't occur to me if you're taking the pics from SQ area the background wouldn't be Tg Tokong shoreline

The offshore islands are probably work being started since March to landscape along Gurney Drive towards Straits Quay along the lines of Gardens of the Bay in Singapore. The last time we were in Gurney Plaza they showed plans of the recreational facilities they are planning to do starting in March. How long it will takes to materialise is anyone's guess.Here is the image of the plans along Gurney Drive.
