Re: Help!Anybody in Sicily ?!
Ciao Mark,
I'm not in Messina, but I am currently living/bought a house in Piana degli Albanesi - too far from all my work in Palermo, I am looking to sell my house and live nearer to Palermo, how far is Messina to Palermo and what are the house markets like there? Maybe wee could meet up for a coffee sometime. What are you doing in Messina?

Re: Help!Anybody in Sicily ?!
Hello there,
Thanks for writing, but I'm a fair distance from you - the train took about 4 1/2 hours, and I would imagine the distance is something like London to Birmingham. Messina is right where the tip of the Italian boot kicks Sicily, right in the NE corner. If I'm in your area I'll drop by and say hello (which I won't be for a while, but I'd like to nip over to Palermo before I leave next year). Couldn't tell you a single thing about house markets here or anywhere else - sorry! And I have the most predictable of all expat jobs... I'm sure you can guess!
Cheers,
Mark
