Can someone give me an idea for what visa I would need (UK police transferring to WAPOL) and the cost for Me, my wife and daughter aged under 2. Thanks

I think WA are sponsoring on 186 ENS visas, so you are looking at $3060 for yourself, $1530 for your wife and $765 for each child.
Pricey business now they charge per person not per application.

Actually, increasing tomorrow to $3520 for the principal applicant, $1760 for each adult dependant, $$880 for each child.

However to the extent that these charges are well over expectations, we've seen a welcome trend for employers to pay for them, hopefully WAPOL will pay them for you as well.

I have just paid out $6160 for a 190 visa for myself, my partner and our 10 year old son. Major increase to what I was thinking at the beginning of the year. But if you are serious about making a move to Oz you pay it

Yes the fees increase is huge and it will deter would be tourists and potential immigrants who would have contributed to the economy.

Can't see it affecting tourism much as many tourists do not ned to pay a fee anyway.

I can't find any announcement about expected price rises - and the cost estimator does not show any change in price between applying now, or in the new year. Where did you hear about this price rise?

From my Vietnamese girlfriend. But she "panics" sometimes so it can be just a rumor. Or maybe it applies just to Vietnam cos that country is kind of crazy..

There are always rumours of some negative/scary change. Don't bother thinking about it until it actually happens.
