Hi Everybody;

I have also applied for 475 visa class, as an industrial Pharmacist after gaining sponsorship from Queensland.

Currently I am in Melbourne. I applied on line on 7th of July 2009. Still Waiting for CO. Now a days they are processing application on priority for those who have sponsorship from a state, but I am confused, they have not allocated case officer to my case, its has been over a month. Can anybody tell me, as I am currently in Australia, will it have a positive impact on my application? Usually how much time it takes to get 475 visa for a high risk country. Specially after priority processing?

Onething more, there is no information available about 475 in the email reply that ASPC sends us???????

NT 176 Timeline

Just spoken to agent and our timeline is like this

Applied via agent 15th Jan 09
SS approved 6th July 09
Diac forms sent to agent last week (7th August 09)
Diac forms to be lodged today

Now this next bit is according to agent who so far has overestimated overything and all processes have happened more quickly than advised.

Case worker guaranteed within 10 days

Depending on who we get and how much work they got on 2 weeks - 2 months until police checks and medicals requested

2 months after at latest(providing no issues) Visa will be granted

Jan 7th 2010 (within a year) hopefully living in Darwin

Nobody can tell you. It could be a week or it could be 2 years. Every case is different.

I called DIAC today and they said wait for about 2 months, for any update.

Just to get a idea of the variance in time for visa grant all you have to do is to go through the signature of members,

You will see the difference is 3 months to 2 years
