PR Visa Application
Hi All
Just a quick question, is there anything on here that gives you a step by step on visa applications, is the visa application a difficult process, can you do it without using these companies that charge a fortune to process the application for you ???
Regards
Dean

some of the links may be out of date now, but the idea is the same.
If you meet the criteria for a visa (Points, occupation on SOL / CSOL, health, character, English), then you need to obtain a skills assessment and proof that you meet the English requirements (IELTS or passport) to lodge an EOI on Skill Select - SkillSelect
If you are selected, you will receive an invitation to apply. You will then have 60 days I think to complete the application (straight forward questions), pay for the visa - and then you will be able to upload your documents. Any points claimed need to be proved - work experience by references, pay slips, etc; qualification; any bonus points for English by IELTS or alternative test listed.
If you are organised and have the time, there is no need to use an agent in most cases The cost of using an agent isn't huge though - agent costs should around £2k I would think, and is not that much when you look at the total costs of migration - probably closer to £20k!
