Student Visa and Mental Health
Hi all!
I hope you're all well So i'm currently applying for a student visa to study at University of Auckland. I've completed medicals but because of a two year history of Depression, I failed and have had to supply them with further evidence in the form of a GP letter.
So just a few quick questions:
1. Has anyone been in the same situation with a mental health issue, and got accepted? The GP letter has stated its under control however I'm worried they'll still decline, as have only been on current medication for 6months
2. Whats the time scale like for those referred to a medical assessor?
Thank you all!

Re: Student Visa and Mental Health
Hi and welcome to BE, sorry but not sure on mental health issues, but mine and my daughters medicals were referred and took three weeks before coming back as ok, but as I said wasn't mental health.
