Hopefully on our way very soon!
Hi all
Just to let you know that we received an email yesterday from our CO that there was a note on the system that my health status has been confirmed as a satisfactory standard! We should receive an e mail today to say my passport has been stamped with the work visa and should be on its way back. We will await anything else for the residence but that seems to be almost in place now.
This has all been a very stressfull time for us. The medical referrals for both my wife and I have obviously been very worrying. At least the outcome has been that the specialist has confirmed these to be "insignificant" and "actually within normal expected ranges" respectively.
With hindsight we could have continued in the workplace for a further month due to the delays and had some income, but c'est la vie.
With confirmation today and hopefully word from the shippers that they can come next week, we are hoping to fly out next sat/sun
Just need to find somewhere to stay! A car to rent! And a job for me!

Apologies, my wife has read the post and pointed out that it is "is really cheesy" to use proffesional letters on a friendly forum. I was a bit giddy, sorry!

Fab news Ian and family , so pleased for you.Know exactly what you have been through as we are now experiencing the same and we dont like it one bit!
Our CO is now on holiday so i doubt very much that ours will not be sorted until she gets back - and then ours will not be the only one on her desk!! Shes probably got hundreds of others to deal with too.
