Leaving UK car at French holiday home

Re: Leaving UK car at French holiday home
no it's another insurance company, from Le Mans, Mutuelles du Mans Assurance.
I did accidentally carry mine over from the previous year but the theory is that you report your kilometrage (or mileage ) at each renewal so it doesn't get too far out of synch, and they settle up. You can do it all online and they refund the money into your bank. That's how MMA do it anyways, other companies may work differently.

Re: Leaving UK car at French holiday home
I just checked and I'm afraid it's nothing to get very excited about, it is 5€ per 1000km. For some bizarre reason I have an annual km of 10,000 and I never do anywhere near that, and I spent most of last year in my camping-car so I did even less than usual. So, think up something nice to do with your 5€!
