Thank you for reading
I believe Britain's future depends on Europe, but I don't believe Britain's future will always be in Europe.

Of all 28 members, Britain is the single least "European" it has a different political system, economy, and culture, is the single most politically and economically autonomous of all members, and frankly, in a practical sense, doesn't really fit into the European "model".

But that doesn't mean a brexit at this juncture is in any way in Britain's best interests. It isn't. And evidence of this is overwhelming, even if the many harbouring popular nationalist sentiments would dismiss any of those warnings.

There will come a time, however, when both the EU and Britain realise that Britain's membership isn't the fit everyone hoped for, and a much more friendly, mutually agreed and far better exit that represents far less risk to both Britain and the EU will begin, and both will be free to pursue their rightful destinies without the ongiing adversity...

Well Scott It seems that the 'oiks' still live and thrive in the UK..

and- The answer to your question is Yes.. they will listen..If they wish to keep their jobs that is.. Got a very positive reply from mine at least .. with support for signing the latest petition doing the rounds on the net.It has already reached the 100,000 mark which does require questions in the house.. We will see if the much vaunted British Democracy actually works then.

If you want to make a difference to the referendum then you need to vote. British ambassadors has the same number of votes as you do. Lobbying them saying you want the UK to stay in the EU won't make a scrap of a difference if the Great British Public vote for Leave.
