A few hours in London
Hi all,
I have a 10 hour layover in Heathrow on my way to Africa and and am looking to spend some time in London. I am a woman travelling alone and I would appreciate advice for sightseeing/transport to and from Heathrow etc. with that in mind.
Cheers!
Beth

buy a zone 1-6 daycard (after 9:30a on a weekday) and take the
underground to town.

Take the Piccadilly Line underground to Hyde Park Corner or Piccadilly Circus
and walk to Trafalgar Square (or Knightsbridge, if you want to shop at
Harrod's). You'll be fine (assuming it is in the daytime). You can return to
Hyde Park Corner via the Green Park or take the underground to Westminster.
