Very nice. If there was a hurricane one could stand on the little balcony with a Pimm's or, indeed, a Hurricane, and watch the house blow away.

You wouldn't share a glass either, a bucket each at least

It is some sort of indictment of my wasted youth that, although I can't turn the sound on here, I'm pulling the blanket higher and dreaming of summertime instead, when winter comes hooooowling in.

It would be difficult to hang your washing out, but at least the clothes lines are provided.

I refer you post #11. He's still at it.

On reflection his partner was all over Feng Shui, not Tai Chi.

Reviewing the interior fitments of the various listings (not the lighthouse) suggests a peculiarly Canadian feng shui. No doubt there is an ancient art of faux wood panel placement somehow involving alignment with the embroidered cushions of one's ancient reclining chairs.

There is, of course a long history of
Lighthouse keepers shipping Chablis and staring into each other's eyes during a storm. One can only imagine the romantic scene as the worthy keepers effortlessly balanced their wine glass in one hand and kept the lamps burning with the other as storm tossed ships captains raised a glass of their own to the noble lighthouse keepers. One imagines that Bishops Rock say was quite the plum posting with its extensive wine cellars and idyllic weather. Or not.

Very meaningful....I feel....but in F**ing February?

My husband spotted five whales today over those waters, but he wasn't stuck there for the rest of the winter...that would suck
