Formula 1
The new season is about to begin. But how do I watch it in Canada (specifically BC)? The house where Im staying has a Telus package - does it need an extra sports package or is it on standard channels? Any alternative suggestions?
All advice welcome!
Thanks

This. They use the UK feed. It used to be the BBC's feed but for the last 2-3 years it has been the Sky Sports feed. It you watch it live (or record it) they usually show the action while commercials are on in a small box in one corner. If you watch the non live feed, they pause the action while the commercials are on so you don't miss anything.
They usually show the pre and post "main event" feeds too. It has far better picture quality if you can obtain the HD version.
Sometimes, they will show the practice sessions too.

We have always had it here and I think at least one of them is a so-called "basic) channel.
Have a look at your cable company's menu and scroll through until you find it, or don't. It's icon is red TSN.
This link may help you determine if your package has it and what channel number it will be:Telus channels
