Health Insurance
Folks, I did a quick search and didn't get anything that came up easy, sooo... sorry if there is a thread somewhere about this and I have missed it.
My question today is, does anyone have a recommendation for an insurance provider to provide a 42yr old with coverage for the first 3-6mths in Canada to cover the medical side of things? I am booked to leave Ireland's Green Shores for Nova Scotia next Tuesday, but would like some insurance to cover me 'just-in-case' I need medical attention before NS healthcare kicks in.
My own insurance broker here in UK doesn't do anything like what I need.

This wiki page has recently had a makeover (courtesy of your truly and others!)
If you read the wiki page and follow the links provided, you will see that there is no waiting period for Nova Scotia, so you can register for provincial health insurance immediately, so no need to gap insurance!

Re: Health Insurance
Thanks folks... sorry for not finding it myself. This must have recently changed with NS as they were 3mths I believe back in the summer time.
