I know people who managed 3 weeks. I'm sure they're regretting the move back though, the adults in the family didn't want to go but were pressurised by a child.
There was someone on here a few years back who ponged back after a month, pinged back again before their container arrived back in the UK so in the space of two months had lost a lot of money and energy. No idea where they are now. They stopped posting immediately after coming back the second time.

OMG!!!
All that time, effort, patience and waiting around, not too mention the money in getting their Visa and back home in 10 days!!!
I would have thought something awful had happened and they needed to get back or something......
Do you know if they plan to go back out as they have 5yrs from Visa Grant i think don't they??
Good Luck to them in whatever they chose....

A Melbourne taxi driver once told me of afamily from the UK that he picked up at the airport. He drove them towards the city, which in Melbourne is a pretty uninspiring drive, and before they reached the city they had changed their minds. They asked the driver to turn round and take them back to the airport!

I expect they'll be back, even if it's not forever - they'll need to get it out of their system.
