Storm has pretty much just stayed over the Gold Coast, plenty of rain though, 101mm in 2 hours at Carrara

Got some sleep between 3 and 5 am by which time it was sunny.

Went walking at 6am, really humid even then.

AC unit on 24 which is sucking the humidity out the air, but not freezing us. Funny really in some places 24 would be heating

So over it, but now I see melb is going to get its first 38..... no doubt the furnace forties will hit there soon.

Saturday it'll be 40 apparently, but only for one day thankfully. Wont be doing much that day for sure.

I'm out for most of the day tomorrow in it.... Trip to Geelong to watch Melbourne Victory, so no doubt will be knackered from the heat come midnight when I get home.


Peed of with the Wife who wont take my offer to drive down to Geelong (80ks or 1 hour) with her mate and have a meal out on me, so as to drive me and my pissed up mates home, rather than struggle with 10K other Victory fans at Geelong Railway Station after the game.


Wrong innit, She reckons it's all part of the game day atmosphere !!! Dammit

Had rain for about 20 mins down here with thunder and lightning just over the border. Still humid but only had a high of 30 today and now on its way down again so no air con this year.

Now it's 28C muggy - I'm not a fan of it. But the beached tourists must be loving it.
