Perth has to be the worst. It's the most over over-rated and over priced place on the planet. Half decent quality clothes for women and kids here are ridiculously expensive.

The stuff in Target, Big W, Sussan, Katie's or any of the Aussie stores is rubbish. And the prices in Myers and David Jones are a joke. Not just clothes but all goods. In the January sales Myer was selling a Jamie Oliver 3-pan set for $800 !!! That was the discounted price. Can't remember the original price.

Who on earth pays that ? Must be aimed at FIFO workers.

But Australia has one of the highest tax-free limits for internet shopping, up to $1000 per parcel. Why not take advantage of this and just buy from 6pm.com and use a company like comgateway.com for shipping or from Amazon.com (or co.uk) for non-clothes needs?
