Agree. I have worked at a number of mine sites in Oz and never seen unskilled foreign staff. There are a fair few 457 holders but mainly things like geologists and engineers and specialist trades. Only exception is probably my son who is working at my old site as a field assistant while here on a WHV. But that was a personal favor to me.
