Re: email address in Australia
Yup, that will be it!
Our youngest grand daughter was "Made In Australia" (the other 5 here made in UK)
So she's called "MIA" !

Little note for people with uk addresses which they will lose after they move.....
make sure your BE registered address is one that will work here! If you forget your password and need it reset you must have access to that email address to do it. Otherwise you will have to start a new account and the old one will be disabled - without you having access to the email address we can't reinsate the access to the old account.
So change your BE addresses to hotmail, gmail etc before you leave!!

Re: email address in Australia
(not for the OP) - If you have an email address that ends in hotmail.co.uk and you want to continue to use it in Australia, but you don't want to put it on job applications, set up a hotmail.com.au address, and divert it's inbox into your hotmail.co.uk inbox. That way you still only have to check your .co.uk inbox, but employers only see your .com.au - make sense?

For a modest amount you can purchase your own domain name from DomainDiscover or various other companies. This allows you to have your personalised email address e.g. [email protected] and get all mail coming into that address redirected to your email at whichever ISP you use in whichever country you are in. Makes your emails look more professional than using hotmail!
