Glad the op went well. No exercise, now thats a shame.
Only lost 1/2 lb this week but the thought of looking like a beached whale in Majorca in 6 weeks is helping me stick to my diet this week.

1 - 2 lbs a week for the next 6 weeks will do me for starters

Re: Dieter's for OZ
I'm still stewing today over my experience at work yesterday. Maybe this will be my turning point to get slim. It also goes to show what an effect a good choice in clothing for your shape is.
I didn't go to work as a practice nurse yesterday in my issued traditional uniform of burgundy tunic and trousers due to it being so hot and me working in a shoebox of a room with no windows/ventilation (Polyester uniform is like wearing a shaped but stiff bit of tarpaulin and sticks to you - and I've lost weight since I got it), so I wore a white cotton shaped longline blouse and black trousers instead with my badge (thinking if I get the sack because I dare challenge the uniform it isn't too bad because hopefully off to Oz in next few months).
Well this 78 year old lady came for a test, we had a good laugh etc, did what was required, then she said she hadn't seen me before and thought she was seeing the nurse she saw 2 weeks ago, who was nice but 'massive' (her words), 'as wide as she was tall' (no inhibitions with this lady!!), she said it would 'take two of me to make one of her'!!
Trouble is, the nurse she saw two weeks ago was me In my burgundy, stiff nurses uniform.
I just smiled and didn't let on, when she left I could have died. I know I'm large, (nurses are only human too) BMI now down to 29 from 31 and I'm 6ft tall size 18, (large, surely that's not 'massive' I thought), but to have someone talk about me like that, bless her, not knowing it was me because I obviously looked so different, was quite a shocker. I suppose 'massive' is different things to different people, but I am now acutely aware of my clothing and never want to see that damned burgundy uniform again.
Still mortified. Had to laugh but OMG

OMG did you smile through gritted teeth? time to bin the uniform I reckon, as you said it's amazing how clothes can add or subtract the pounds isn't it?

I wish I had an outfit which made me look smaller - not keen on the one which made you look twice your size though

Hello ladies
Haven't posted on here for ages! How's everyone doing?
I was reading an article about a woman who lost 10 stone in something like 8 months - on something called the lighter life diet - anyone heard of it? I've had a look on their website just wondered if anyone knows anyone that has done it.
