Working for UK company remotely from a EU country
I am working remotely for a UK company. I am thinking of moving to a EU country with low tax rates and working from there.
My understanding is that this should work like this: a. the UK company pays taxes as usual b. in the end of the tax year I tell HMRC that I am resident of another country and they refund the taxes (PAYE and NIC) c. I fill tax return in the country of residence and pay the necessary amount. Is that anyhow close to the reality? |
